Change is in the air in the battle for civil rights
A note of gratitude to many. As the dust settles from the temporary defeat of Question 1, I find myself immensely grateful to many. I extend my thanks to our governor and our elected officials who sponsored and passed the equal access to marriage law. They indeed placed their political careers at risk by taking this very large step toward equality in Maine. They demonstrated their commitment to all Mainers.
