Football: Cony quarterback Luke Duncklee had 333 yards of offense and scored four touchdowns in a 47-26 loss to Brunswick in a PTC A quarterfinal game.
Boys Soccer:David Clough scored a minute and six seconds into overtime to lead Maranacook over Gray-New Gloucester 2-1 in a Western B quarterfinal game.
Girls soccer: Hailey Longfellow scored two goals and an assist to lead Hall-Dale past Mt. Abram 3-0 in a Class C west quarterfinal game.
Field hockey: Gardiner's Kashley Weymouth and Katie Schide each scored to help Gardiner win the Class B state championship with a 2-0 win over York.
Girls cross country: Maranacook sophomore Abby Mace Melody won the Western B regional title with a time of 18:54.16 on Saturday in Cumberland.
Boys cross country:Erskine senior Sam Seekins won the Class B Eastern title with a time of 16:30.72 on Saturday in Belfast.
For the week of Oct. 18-Oct. 24
Football:Maranacook sophomore Luke Emery rushed for 102 yards on 22 carries, scoring three touchdowns and three conversions, as the Black Bears rallied to a 34-29 win over Oak Hill.
Boys Soccer:Gardiner senior Katie Schide scored a pair of goals to lead the Tigers to a 5-1 win over John Bapst in an Eastern Maine Class B semifinal tournament win.
Girls soccer: Cony senior Mackenzie Dufour played an outstanding game at sweeper in the Rams' 2-1 loss against unbeaten Brunswick.
Field hockey: Gardiner senior Katie Schide scored a pair of goals to lead the Tigers to a 5-1 win over John Bapst in an Eastern Maine Class B semifinal tournament win.
For the week of Oct. 11-Oct. 17
Football:Luke Duncklee completed 16 of his 25 passing attempts for 287 yards and three touchdowns in a 29-26 overtime loss to Lewiston.
Boys Soccer:Oak Hill's Adam Soucy scored three goals in a 5-0 win over Gardiner and assisted on the game-winning goal in a 2-1 victory over MCI.
Girls soccer: Gardiner's Ashley Abbott scored all three goals in a 3-0 win over Medomak Valley.
Field hockey: Gardiner's Katie Schide scored two goals and added two assists to lead the Tigers past MCI 8-0 in an Eastern B quarterfinal game.
Girls cross country:Hall-Dale freshman Laura MacDonald won the Mountain Valley Conference championships with a time of 21:53.
Boys cross country: Erskine's Sam Seekins finished second in the Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B championships with a time of 17:10.8.
Golf: Cony junior Kyle Bonenfant finished second in the Class A individual champinships at Natanis Golf Course. He shot a 75.
For the week of Oct. 4-Oct. 10
Football:Cony senior Rick Orio caught five passes for 155 yards and three touchdowns in a 26-22 win over Mt. Blue. He also excelled in the defensive backfield.
Boys Soccer:Erskine junior goalie Brian Potter made nine saves in recording a key shutout against Edward Little.
Girls soccer: Cony senior Tori Fowler scored two goals in a key win over Morse and added two goals and an assist as the Rams downed Lewiston.
Field hockey: In three Gardiner victories, sophomore Olivia Reny scored three goals against Oak Hill, one against Maranacook and added an assist against Leavitt.
Girls cross country:Maranacook sophomore Abby Mace set a course record at the Mt. Blue relays.
Boys cross country: Hall-Dale senior Kyle Blanchette finished seventh in a six-team meet.
Golf: Cony junior Kyle Bonenfant shot 72 at the KVAC qualifier and 75 at the state team meet.
For the week of Sept. 27-Oct. 3
Football:Winthrop's Cory Harris rushed for 141 yards and a touchdown in a 12-8 win over Maranacook.
Boys Soccer: Ryan Hall of Erskine scored six goals in three games, including three against Morse and two more against Cony.
Girls soccer: Richmond's Noell Acord scored four goals in two games. She scored twice in wins over Greater Portland Christian and Rangeley.
Field hockey: Cony's Chelsea Begin scored three goals and an assist in a 5-1 win over Brewer.
Girls cross country:Maranacook's Abby Mace finished second in the annual Festival of Champions with a time of 18:34.6
Boys cross country: Erskine's Sam Seekins finished first in a six-team meet Friday with atime of 16:18.
Golf: Cony's Kyle Bonenfant, Ryan Minoty and Tyler Moody each won matches to help the Rams win the Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference championship.
For the week of Sept. 20-Sept. 26
Football:Cony junior Luke Duncklee rushed for 172 yards, caught two passes for 48 yards and threw a 31-yard touchdown pass in the Rams 33-16 win over Edward Little.
Boys Soccer: Hall-Dale senior James McCullum scored both goals ina 2-1 win over Lisbon and two more in a 3-1 victory against Winthrop.
Girls soccer: Hall-Dale forward Kristina Buck scored a hat trick in a shutout against Winthrop and a goal as the Bulldogs knocked of previously unbeaten Lisbon.
Field hockey: Winthrop senior Kenize Hill scored the game-winner in an overtime win over Livermore Falls and contributed two goals in a shutout agaunst rival Hall-Dale.
Girls cross country:Hall-Dale freshman Laura MacDonald finished first in a nine-team meet at Monmouth.
Boys cross country: Monmouth junior Patrick McInnis won for the first time in a nine-team meet in Monmouth.
Golf: Cony junior Kyle Bonenfant was medalist in two matches won by the Rams, including a 32 in a win against Mt. Ararat.
For the week of Sept. 13-Sept. 19
Football:Alonzo Connor rushed 29 times for 278 yards and two touchdowns as Gardiner cruised to a 44-27 win over Waterville.
Boys Soccer: Adam Soucy scored four goals in Oak Hill's 8-0 win over Nokomis and had an assist in a 2-1 win over Lincoln.
Girls soccer: Elaine Theriault had two goals and an assist in a 4-0 win over Boothbay and a goal and an assist in a 2-0 win over Wiscasset.
Field hockey: Nicole Castonguay scored the game winning goal in overtime as Maranacook beat Winslow on Saturday.
Girls cross country:Maranacook's Abby Mace finished first in a four-team meet with a time of 19 minutes, 4 seconds on Friday.
Boys cross country: Cony's Luke Fontaine finished in a time of 16 minutes, 32 seconds to finish second in a five-team meet on Friday.
Golf: Andy Emery shot 37 to win medalist honors in Winthrop's 5-2 loss to St. Dom's.
For the week of Sept. 6-Sept. 12
Football:Oak Hill quarterback Brett Turcotte threw an 18-yard touchdown pass with 40 seconds left to lead the Radiers a win over Yarmouth. Turcotte also rushed for two touchdowns in the 26-23 win.
Boys Soccer: Oak Hill sophomore Bryan Soucy scored four goals in his team's 5-2 win over Medomak Valley and two more in a 2-1 victory over Gardiner.
Girls soccer: Gardiner junior goalie Jen Day stopped two penalty shots, the first to maintain a 2-1 win over Camden Hills and the latter with one second left to play to preserve a scoreless tie against Oak Hill.
Field hockey: Cony's Chelsea Begin scored two goals in a win over Mt. Blue and two more as well as two assists in a victory over Lewiston.
Girls cross country: Maranacook sophomore Abby Mace remained unbeaten with a win in an eight-team meet at Lawrence.
Boys cross country: Erskine senior Sam Seekins finished first in a seven-team meet at Belfast.
Golf: Maranacook senior Tyler Whitman twice won medalist honors to lead the Black Bears to wins over Oak Hill and MCI.
For the week of Aug. 31-Sept. 5
Football:Cony quarterback Nick Lucas completed seven of his eight passes for three touchdowns in a 28-7 win over Mt. Ararat.
Boys Soccer: Brian Soucy of Oak Hill scored three goals and two assists in a 7-1 win over Leavitt.
Girls soccer: Hailey Longfellow of Hall-Dale scored two goals in a 4-1 win over Dirigo.
Field hockey: Chelsea Bergin of Cony scored three goals in a 5-1 win over Edward Little.
Girls cross country: Maranacook sophomore Abby Mace won the Maranacook Invitational with a time of 20:23.81.
Boys cross country: Luke Fontaine won the Maranacook Invitational on Friday with a time of 16:55.48.
Golf: Ryan Minoty of Cony won a match and tied another in the opening week. He was also a co-medalist in win over Lewiston.
